Dear Berrians,

As some of you have read, and others have only heard:
We are upgrading to a new host!

Now, to give a little detail on this:
We're moving to a new machine at a new data-center, located in Kansas City, Kansas.
We thought this was a suitable location since it's more centralized in the US, compared to our current location, in Beauharnois, Canada.
Our new machine has the following hardware specs:
CPU1

CPU2 (yes, dual CPU)

RAM Memory
Hard Disk 1
Hard Disk 2
Network
Intel E5 Processor - 10 Cores / 20 Threads - Clock speed range 2.5 GHz - 3.3 GHz
Intel E5 Processor - 10 Cores / 20 Threads - Clock speed range 2.5 GHz - 3.3 GHz
64 GB DDR3 Dual-Channel
4 TB SATA Drive
120 GB SSD Drive
1Gb/s Transfer

However that doesn't mean all these resources are directly applied to the servers...
We're applying something called Virtualization. Essentially we're creating several 'virtual machines' on the host machine. Each with its own function.
A large part of the resources will be applied to the main server.
A few smaller parts to the network server, vanilla and upcoming minigames servers.
A bit of the resources will be put up to the databases and supportive software.
Additionally, we plan on hosting a few small servers for other games. For example a Space Engineers server.

However, when we're back up we're also going to be moving onto a new Main world.
No worries, you will not come back onto the new server and have lost all your items. More details will be posted accordingly. Any questions in advance are welcome.
For now what we can say is:
A certain amount of chests per player will be moved to the new world,
and a few builds will be moved to a new location in the new world as well.
(Ender-chests will not be carried over so be aware of this).

For now... We'll round it up with this:
Let us know what you guys are thinking about, wondering about, worried about....
Ask us your questions and we'll try to answer them as quickly and accurately as possible for the next couple weeks.
